It is a Government funded training programme working with a variety of employers designed to prepare you for your future career and improve your chances of getting an Apprenticeship or other job.

Benefits of a Traineeship

Our Traineeship offer
- Aimed at 19-24 year olds only
- 8 to 12 weeks in duration – dependent on current skill level.
- Minimum of 70 hours practical work experience

If you are motivated to get into the workplace but lack the skills and experience that employers are asking for then a traineeship is an ideal opportunity to improve your chances. A traineeship can offer you a stepping stone to progress to full-time employment or an apprenticeship

Will I get paid?
You wont get paid for doing a traineeship programme, however you need to remember this is a stepping stone to being able to secure a paying job or Apprenticeship in the future. Some employers cover expenses, we can cover this as part of your initial discussion.
Am I eligible?
You must meet the following criteria:
- You are unemployed (or work less than 16 hours per week) and have little work experience
- You are motivated and committed to work
- Your current qualifications are below level 4
