The team attends The Jobs Fair in Twickenham!

The team attended the latest Career fair ran by The Jobs Fair on Friday 22nd April at Twickenham Stadium in London.

The Jobs Fair run regular events – typical one day at a local venue – bringing together various employers and other organisations to exhibit employment and training opportunities.

Professional Training Solutions were there to promote our range of apprenticeship programmes and other training opportunities as well as showcasing our dedicated London based programme, PLEYSS (Pan London Early Years Sector Skills), that is aimed at helping Londoners who are unemployed and interested in working in the Early Years sector.

Charlene, Fatai and Lucy had a fantastic day with lots of interest from candidates and employers alike.

A word from Charlene:

“I would say it was a great success all-round,  very busy and we had a queue most the time with people wanting to talk to us and register.   We had people interested in PLEYSS as well as the short courses and Apprenticeships.   I would say the top 3 areas of  interest  was PLEYSS, Accounting and Business Administration”.

And Lucy adds:

“In addition to the high level of interest in our offerings – it was great to inform and educate visitors on how government funding for training works and how much is available. As well as letting people know alternative routes for further education other than university”.
