Four Routes Into Real Employment Opportunities
These Skills Bootcamps are designed for people who are serious about moving into work or progressing their career. You will receive tutor-led training, individual support, employability preparation and help to connect with relevant employers and vacancies.
Early Years
Develop the practical knowledge and confidence to start a career supporting young children.
12 PLACES – 6 weeks (86hrs)
Fully funded for eligible learners.
Healthcare
Build the skills and professional behaviours needed for healthcare support roles.
12 PLACES – 6 weeks (60hrs)
Fully funded for eligible learners.
Residential Childcare
Prepare for a career supporting chin and young people in residential settings.
12 PLACES – 6 weeks (70hrs)
Fully funded for eligible learners.
Adult Social Care
Prepare for rewarding roles supporting adults to live independently and with dignity.
12 PLACES – (79hrs)
Fully funded for eligible learners.
A Bootcamp is a Commitment – Not Just a Free Course
If you are offered one of the 12 places we will expect you to:
- Attend and actively participate in the scheduled training.
- Complete the required learning and agreed independent work.
- Keep in regular contact with your tutor and support team.
- Take part in employability, interview and vacancy training.
- Be ready to pursue suitable work opportunities of at least 16 hours per week.
We will support you throughout – but you need to be ready to attend, engage and take the opportunity seriously.
What You Can Expect From PTS
- Tutor led, supported learning – not unsupported online study.
- A blend of live online, face-to-face and practical learning where appropriate.
- Individual support including support for additional learning needs and neurodiversity.
- Regular one-to-one progress reviews to keep your learning on track.
- CV, applications and interview preparation.
- Employer engagement and support to access relevant vacancies.
- Guidance on functional skills, including English and maths where required.
- Ongoing pastoral support throughout your programme, from enrolment to completion.
Could you be Eligible?
- Aged 19+
- Live in Surrey.
- Proof of Postcode.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Be FULLY available to commit to the course.
- Ready for employment and a steady career path.
- Confirmation you have not already started another Skills Bootcamp in the same financial year.
- Not currently in full-time employment (or able to commit alongside current work commitments).
