Four Routes Into Real Employment Opportunities

These Skills Bootcamps are designed for people who are serious about moving into work or progressing their career. You will receive tutor-led training, individual support, employability preparation and help to connect with relevant employers and vacancies.

Early Years

Develop the practical knowledge and confidence to start a career supporting young children.

A Bootcamp is a Commitment – Not Just a Free Course

If you are offered one of the 12 places we will expect you to:

  • Attend and actively participate in the scheduled training.
  • Complete the required learning and agreed independent work.
  • Keep in regular contact with your tutor and support team.
  • Take part in employability, interview and vacancy training.
  • Be ready to pursue suitable work opportunities of at least 16 hours per week.

We will support you throughout – but you need to be ready to attend, engage and take the opportunity seriously.

What You Can Expect From PTS

 

  1. Tutor led, supported learning – not unsupported online study.
  2. A blend of live online, face-to-face and practical learning where appropriate.
  3. Individual support including support for additional learning needs and neurodiversity.
  4. Regular one-to-one progress reviews to keep your learning on track.
  5. CV, applications and interview preparation.
  6. Employer engagement and support to access relevant vacancies.
  7. Guidance on functional skills, including English and maths where required.
  8. Ongoing pastoral support throughout your programme, from enrolment to completion.

Could you be Eligible?

 

  • Aged 19+
  • Live in Surrey.
  • Proof of Postcode.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Be FULLY available to commit to the course.
  • Ready for employment and a steady career path.
  • Confirmation you have not already started another Skills Bootcamp in the same financial year.
  • Not currently in full-time employment (or able to commit alongside current work commitments).
