Professional Training Solutions are supporting Youth Mental Health Day!
Written on 7th, September 2021
Today marks Youth Mental Health Day.
Why is today so important?
The aim of Youth Mental Health Day is to encourage understanding, awareness and discussion around mental health in young people.
Mental health can affect anyone, and in recent years there has been an increase in young people suffering from mental disorders. Youth Mental Health Day is here to provide hope for those suffering. By getting young people engaged in discussions and activities about how to improve their mental health, the hope is to raise awareness supporting mental health and reiterate those suffering are not alone.
Youth Mental Health Day 2021 theme!
This year, the theme for YMHD is how young people can #StrideForward with their mental health. As we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, we say goodbye to national lockdowns, baking excessive banana cakes and not being able to see loved ones. We encourage young people to be at the forefront of the conversation and reflect on how the last year has impacted their lives and share how they will #StrideForward and move towards positive mental health. We hope today, with the help of young people will encourage adults across the UK to listen and commit to helping rebuild young people’s mental health together, allowing for us all to #StrideForward
