We are delighted to announce we have renewed our Disability Confident certificate and look forward to providing career opportunities to those coping with a disability.

What is Disability Confident?

Becoming an increasingly more and more well-known phrase, ‘disability confident’ was coined by the DWP (Department for Work and Pensions) promoting their government scheme for employers to act and begin to think differently about employing those with a disability.

Why Professional Training Solutions became a Disability Confident employer?

Professional Training Solutions is a welcoming, inclusive business with strong morals and values surrounding diversity in the workplace.

Employment discrimination against those with disabilities in society is an ongoing historical issue and this is the first step of many to promote radical change within this matter. We are therefore proud to be one of many adopting this scheme and providing equal opportunity for anyone and everyone.

Impacts the scheme has had:

Three-quarters agreed that employing someone with a disability or long-term health condition would have a positive impact on staff morale (77%).
Nine in ten disagreed staff with disabilities would make the organisation less productive (88%)
Nine in ten employers said they would recommend joining the scheme to another employer (91%).
