The Level 1 Certificate in Work-Related Studies for the Customer Service Sector helps you build the knowledge, skills and confidence to prepare for a job in customer service. Whether you’re entering work for the first time, improving your workplace skills or considering a career in customer service, you’ll learn the principles of effective service and gain practical, transferable skills. It’s fully funded for eligible learners in London.
You’re assessed through a portfolio of evidence, so there’s no traditional final exam. You complete activities and coursework for the units you study, and your work is assessed as you go. A tutor is assigned to support you throughout and you can reach them by phone, text or email. You’ll get email reminders when units are due, and your tutor marks and returns your work within 7 days. Once you finish, we apply for your certificate, which is posted to you within 2-4 weeks.
