Course Content

  • Identify your personal strengths, skills and the areas you want to develop.
  • Search and apply for jobs, complete application forms and prepare for interviews.
  • Build effective communication and teamwork skills, and manage your time well at work.
  • Develop appropriate personal presentation and workplace behaviours for the expectations of working life.
  • Understand health and safety in a working environment and assess which roles suit you.

How It Works

You’re assessed as you go, using a portfolio of evidence and practical activities. The qualification is flexible, so the assessment and the skills you develop depend on the units you choose. A tutor is assigned to support you throughout, and you can reach them by phone, text or email. You’ll get email reminders when units are due, and your tutor marks and returns your work within 7 days. We then apply for your certificate, which is posted to your home address, usually within 2-4 weeks.
