We’re thrilled to showcase Biba Gibbs as our Learner of the Month! With the Nursing Associate Apprenticeship starting on November 25, 2024, Biba has been preparing with determination and hard work. Here’s a look at their learning journey and the insights they’ve shared from the course experience.

• What inspired you to choose this course, and how has it met or exceeded your expectations so far?
  “I was driven to start this course to get onto the Nursing Associate Apprenticeship, which has always been a career goal of mine. This course has truly laid the groundwork I need for success in my future studies and career.”
• Can you share a moment or project from the course that was particularly impactful or memorable for you?
  “My tutor, Preeti, was a standout part of my experience. She’s amazing and explains things so well. She’s really determined to make sure you understand each concept, which made a huge difference for me.”
• How has your tutor supported your learning journey, and what specific guidance or advice helped you grow the most?
  “The reassurance and support I received from my tutor were wonderful. She’d send encouraging messages, and the WhatsApp group made it easy to stay connected. Her advice to work on areas I wasn’t sure about, rather than only focusing on the things I already knew, really helped me develop well-rounded skills.”
• In what ways has this course prepared you for your future goals, whether in your career or personal development?
  “It’s been so helpful beyond just preparing me for the apprenticeship. I’ve been able to help my son, Sonny, with his homework and exam prep. I’ve also gained confidence managing medication and writing up notes, which will be essential for my nursing path.”
• What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling in this course, based on your own experience?
  “Do it! My advice is to go for the shorter, more intensive course rather than a year-long program. It’s a great way to build your skills quickly without committing to a full year of study.”
