The Level 4 Certificate for the Early Years Advanced Practitioner enables learners to work with children from birth to 5 years and cover areas on promoting health and wellbeing, special educational needs, working with families implementing change and enabling children to learn. This qualification is suitable for learners aged 18 and over, who are currently employed as an early years Level 3 practitioner. This qualification is suited to learners looking to develop leadership and specialist skills within their role.
Learners will be internally and externally assessed, alongside portfolio evidence.
Learners may wish to progress onto a Level 5 qualification, giving the opportunity to study at a higher level, for example a Foundation Degree in Early Years.
