How apprenticeships can give that extra ‘spring’!
During the pandemic it was inevitable the events sector was going to be one of the areas to feel a negative impact from the huge decline in both social and business gatherings. Although the nation adapted to hosting virtual events in response to the restrictions, we were all subjected to, face-to -face interactions still appear to be the nations preferred choice.
Many believe the industry will not see itself back to full strength for a while, but the versatility and flexibility within this sector is amazing – it is all about what the customer wants and as we all start to get back to socialising events are going to be in demand! Living life is truly the 2022 motto as everyone seems to want to make up for lost time with family and friends.
The future of events is a big one, the most effective networking happens this way. As such businesses running these events need to restaff their teams and develop in house talent to push their business forward – apprenticeships are a fantastic way to develop new and existing employees.
If you are an employer looking for staff or an individual who would like to explore being an apprentice in the events industry, we can help. As a main training provider, we enable employers to discover how apprenticeships can help them and aid them through the entire process. For individuals discuss the options open to you and hold a talent pool of candidates ready to match them with employers looking for their next apprenticeship.
We offer the dedicated events industry apprenticeship standard – Level 3 Events Assistant – and have fantastic case study from one of apprentices who successfully completed it whilst working with the Royal Ballet School of London.
