Learners can be unemployed to complete our short courses, however Level 2 Mental Health in Early Years and Level 2 Adverse Childhood Experiences must be done in the workplace.
Eligibility is subject to individual circumstances and will be confirmed as part of the enrolment process.
Learners achieving the Level 3 Diploma can progress onto the Level 4 Certificate for the Advanced Practitioner in Schools and Colleges, a foundation degree, or specialist roles within the workforce.

This course is fully free for eligible adults aged 19 and over living in London or Buckinghamshire, funded through the Adult Skills Fund. Learners must also be working or volunteering within a suitable school setting so they can complete the practical workplace assessment requirements of the qualification.
This is a nationally recognised qualification for people working directly with children and young people in schools and educational settings. It covers safeguarding, child development, SEND, positive behaviour, communication, assessment, literacy and numeracy support and working effectively with teachers and other education professionals.
This qualification is suitable for Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, Classroom Assistants and other support staff working or volunteering within primary, secondary or specialist education settings. Learners need access to a suitable school environment where they can demonstrate their practical skills and complete the required workplace assessments.
The qualification can support progression into roles including Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, SEND Teaching Assistant, Senior Teaching Assistant and Intervention Practitioner. Learners can also progress towards Higher Level Teaching Assistant roles with further experience and qualifications, the Level 4 Certificate for the Advanced Practitioner in Schools and Colleges or the Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship.
Most learners complete the qualification within 12 to 18 months through flexible blended learning with ongoing support from a dedicated tutor or assessor.
