She leads with the business management, marketing and bids for the various funding streams we have access to. Working closely with clients, key stakeholders and partners, Jackie brings the latest developments and funding opportunities to all of our clients.

John O’Sullivan

John has held several senior position within the UK retail business, almost entirely within the Sainsbury’s organisation.
Following retirement from corporate life become MD of his own company spending several years in the Financial services sector in derivative trading & training.

Sharon Lock
Director
With responsibility for the full curriculum and training programme within Professional Training Solutions, as well as quality and working with our awarding bodies and clients, Sharon is a qualified and experienced tutor and trainer as well as an Early Years Professional. Sharon writes and designs all our programmes ensuring they are of the highest quality, something we pride ourselves in.

Neil Hardie

With over 25 years of successfully managing small businesses, Neil oversees the finance & IT of Professional Training Solutions ensuring the business remains efficient & profitable. Managing the complexities of government funding is a real challenge, and one we embrace whilst trying to meet the needs of our clients. Neil has also overseen the implementation of a range of new systems & processes over the last few years as we evolve with technological change.

Sharon Butcher
Business Support Manager
Sharon is our longest serving member of the admin team. Sharon brings to the role a wealth of administration skills and experience, and understands the complex funding, processes and procedures that are a core part of our business operating smoothly. Sharon also leads on and manages our exams process, timetables and results.

Sue Nichols
Quality Manager / Lead IQA
With responsibility for ensuring our quality compliance across the business for all our government funded programmes, and to ensure we meet our awarding body standards, Sue is committed to ensuring excellent standards of delivery. Sue is also our lead IQA and manages the assessor and tutor delivery team. Sue has over 12 years experience in early years and playwork and over 10 years as an assessor.

Senior Project Manager
With organisational, leadership, project and management skills, Chrissy is involved in the project management and delivery of various PTS activities, including working with key stakeholders and partners to develop innovative programmes and supports the Business Development Role. In addition, Chrissy leads on our Business Administration and Leadership and Management programmes.

Sarah Jacques
Lead IQA Health and Social Care and Tutor Assessor
Sarah has over fourteen years experience in the care sector, including mental health and dementia, palliative Care in residential/nursing and community settings, elderly, physical and learning disabilities, and brings with her a wealth of experience in tutoring, assessing and Quality Assuring health and social qualifications.

Lead IQA and Tutor Functional Skills and GCSE’s
As a qualified teacher and English and Maths GCSE Tutor, Amanda is a key member of our team ensuring our learners have the required literacy, numeracy and ICT skills for them to do their jobs, as well as meeting the requirements of the Apprenticeship programmes for functional skills.

Corinne has worked with Professional Training Solutions since 2010 and has overall responsibility for managing the Human Resources for the business to ensure all of our staff are looked after and we comply with current employment legislation.

Alex is our bookkeeper with responsibility of managing the day-day accounts for the business, to ensure everything is both accurate and recorded. Alex is currently studying for his chartered accountancy exam.

Steph is a member of the admin team having returned to work after 16 years of bringing up her family. She has responsibility for making sure the paperwork, processes and procedures are adhered to, ensuring that they are run as smoothly as possible for our employers and learners.

Alex Ayling
Business Support Administrator
Alex is our very own Business Support Administrator. Since starting with us in February 2016 as an apprentice, his confidence has grown greatly and he is now working independently on many projects and administration tasks. He is a key member of our administration support team working alongside Sharon and Steph.
